Oil Water Separator

Oil Water separation can be costly and risky.

Oil-water separators (OWS’s) separate gross amounts of oil and suspended solids from the wastewater effluents of oil refineries, petrochemical plants, chemical plants, natural gas processing plants and other industrial sources. They are used by commercial entities and by government organizations in many ways, especially in handling wash water for vehicles and floors. Moreover, they can be costly to maintain, and if not properly managed, can pollute surface and ground water, and lead to costly violations.

We understand the performance-cost-benefits equation.

Our technicians understand the various techniques to improve OWS performance and reduce costs and liabilities. We are prepared to come to your site and analyze any need for separation of oil and water and make recommendations followed up with customized systems where needed. We recommend and use only the best equipment available on the market. However, high efficiency is only one part of that equation. High performance is maintaining high efficiency for long stretches between required maintenance, and that is what we strive to achieve.

We balance cost, performance and maintenance.

Some OWS’s are simple to install and operate; there are situations that require special installation, perhaps because of space requirements or other special circumstances that require manufacturer expertise. We are prepared to provide this expertise whenever and wherever needed. Most separators designed for high efficiency require very high maintenance. Conversely, separators designed for low maintenance sacrifice performance, leaving the end user with compromised results. We balance high efficiency and low maintenance, utilizing our ability to customize on site. This is critical to end users that are committed to “zero tolerance” in regard to exceeding their effluent limitations.
