AES Facility

We protect our clients from the liabilities of hazardous waste disposal.

First and foremost, we protect clients from the legal, and human and environmental risks that arise from handling and disposal of both hazardous and non-hazardous waste. We ensure that your waste solution balances your objectives, operational demands and budget, while eliminating your environmental burden and ultimately protecting your company’s value. We are adept at disposing hazardous waste governed by RCRA regulations for large, small and conditionally exempt (under 220 lbs. of hazardous waste per month) hazardous waste generators, all who must certify that the waste went to a state or EPA authorized Treatment Storage and Disposal Facility (TSDF). At our facility, we handle the full lifecycle of hazardous waste disposal, providing safe, efficient and reliable service:

  • Material Characterization
  • Hazard Classification
  • Consolidation
  • Packaging
  • Container Closure
  • Hazard Communication
  • Loading & Securement
  • Shipping Documents

Our CESQG Program reduces the costs of your hazardous waste disposal.

In 2001, AES obtained authorization from the state of NM to received conditionally exempt hazardous materials from CESQG's. This program is aimed at those companies which produce small or infrequent amounts of hazardous wastes. In general, the hazardous waste disposal industry is geared around the steady pickup and disposal of drummed quantities of wastes from medium and large scale businesses. Because much of the cost incurred can be for pickup and transportation, small quantities are often viewed as less desirable. This translates into small businesses paying higher fees, if they are able to obtain service at all. The advantage of our CESQG program is that small quantities from different generators can be combined for disposal and the costs distributed among the contributors. Each business pays for only their share of the combined drum. There are however, exceptions for certain types of wastes that cannot be combined and for other wastes, such as photographic and medical wastes, that support specialized full service disposal companies that pick up small quantities.
